MAP-01SINCE 2016

The Hobbit is a fantasy escape room for families at Xcape, 24 HaTa'as St., 2nd floor, Kfar Saba, Israel. It was our very first room, and in 2024 it got a full electronic upgrade and fully upgraded puzzles. It's designed for 2 to 10 players aged 6 and up, with three difficulty levels and nothing scary inside. The game lasts 60 minutes and runs in English or Hebrew.

CHAPTER 1 · THE TALE

The story: who will save the Dwarf kingdom?

Smaug the fire dragon has taken over the kingdom of the Dwarves. Together with Bilbo Baggins, you set out on a journey through the Lonely Mountain to bring back the lost stone and save the kingdom.

You have 60 minutes. The Dwarves are counting on you.

CHAPTER 2 · THE ROAD

How does The Hobbit work?

The Hobbit is where Xcape began. Yafit and Nissim built it themselves in 2016, together with their kids and friends. In 2024 the room went through a complete electronic upgrade and the puzzles were fully reworked, so even if you played it years ago, you'll find a new experience waiting.

The set is built to the standard of a movie set, and there's nothing scary in it, only a magical world to explore.

Plan for about an hour and a half in total, including the briefing.

CHAPTER 3 · CHOOSE YOUR PATH

Three difficulty levels

Family.Puzzles that kids and adults solve together.
Medium. For players with a bit of experience.
Hard. For teams who have already done a few rooms.

Our team helps you pick the right level when you arrive.

CHAPTER 5 · THE FELLOWSHIP

Who is The Hobbit for?

  • Families with kids. The family level is made for children and adults playing side by side.
  • Birthdays. Kids' birthdays can bring up to 15 players, and our team matches the difficulty to the kids' age.
  • Couples and friends. Two players is enough for a great game.
  • Experienced players. Pick the hard level and the room will challenge you.

The ideal group is 4-6 players, but a group of around 10 that wants to stay together will have a great time in the same room.
